IIASA announces plans for Centennial seminar

The Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America (IIASA), located in the greater Washington DC area, today announced plans for a three-day seminar in November this year as part of the on-going centennial celebrations of the event that led to the founding of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The seminar will focus on four aspects:  the life of the Kingdom's founder, King Abdul Aziz; the country's scientific progress over the past one hundred Hijrah years; Saudi Arabia's varied Islamic and international accomplishments; and Saudi-U.S. relations.  Saudi Ambassador to the United States Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz will attend the seminar.  IIASA is an affiliate of the Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh.
