Commerce Minister Osama Bin Jaafar Faqih announced today that there had been a 32.6 percent

increase in Saudi non-oil exports in the first quarter of 1999 as compared with the same

period last year, with a value of SR 5.15 billion (U.S. $ 1.27 billion).
