The Saudi-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) announced today that it

had sent to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey, a total of 15 containers, each holding

300 tons of medical supplies and foodstuffs.
Meanwhile, on August 18 and again on August 20, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent to Turkey

for the relief of the earthquake victims two planeloads of tents, blankets, foodstuffs and

medicines.
