MoU signed on visas between USA and Saudi Arabia

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today in Riyadh concerning the organization of all forms of visas between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, with immediate effect. The aim is to facilitate procedures for citizens of each country who seek visitor and business visas, visas for scholarships and training, and visas for official missions. Fees are to be determined within the framework of certain flexible regulations agreed on by both sides. The signing of the MOU was preceded by official talks in Riyadh by representatives of the two countries, and was approved by the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) and by Royal Decree M/12 dated September 29, 1999.
