Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz today inaugurated the Fifth

National Anti-Polio Campaign by personally vaccinating in Riyadh the first two children in

the presence of Health Minister Dr. Abdulmajeed Shobokshi. Prince Salman urged all citizens

to cooperate in the campaign, following which Saudi Arabia, together with the other

countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will be declared free of poliomyelitis.

There are currently 2,300 medical teams vaccinating children throughout the Kingdom.
