Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Dr. Ismat Abdul Meguid has said that his organization supports the implementation of the UN resolutions and advocates a peaceful settlement of the Iraq-UN crisis.  In a statement to CNN, Dr. Abdul Meguid welcomed the visit to Baghdad of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
