Crown Prince Abdullah opens 1998 Jenadriyah Festival

On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, today patronized the opening ceremonies for the 13th national festival for heritage and culture at Jenadriyah, near Riyadh city.  On arrival at the festival site, the Crown Prince was welcomed by Prince Mishaal Ibn Abdul Aziz;  Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General;  Prince Badr Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Commander of the National Guard and Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Festival;  Prince Sattam Ibn Abdul Aziz, deputy governor of Riyadh province;  and a number of princes and other senior officials.  Attending the ceremonies were Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Issa Al-Khalifa, Commander of the Bahraini National Guard;  Sheikh Saeed Ibn Zaid Al-Nahayan, member of the executive council and head of the UAR ports authority;  Sheikh Ahmed Ibn Zaid Al-Nahayan, UAE's undersecretary for finance and industry;  Sheikh Hamad Ibn Suhaim Al-Thani, minister of state in Qatar;  and a large number of officials and distinguished personalities in the spheres of culture, thought, and information from Arab, Islamic and foreign countries.
