Prince Sultan comments on Mina incident at 1418 Hajj

Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General, today told a gathering in an extemporaneous speech that the pilgrimage this year was to be considered an ideal success and attributed the death of a number of pilgrims to their desire to complete the stoning ritual and go home, saying "It is their fate which was written in advance by God" and adding that God's will can never be denied by man.

Prince Sultan is currently visiting armed forces personnel in the southern region to convey to them on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha the greetings and congratulations of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz.
