Saudi Television on the Internet

Minister at the Royal Saudi Embassy in Washington DC Ahmed Kattan today commented on the fact that Saudi Arabian Television is now connected with the internet, making it available for viewers worldwide.   Minister Kattan said that under instructions from Prince Bandar Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America the embassy's home page now has a link to Saudi TV through the international satellite network, adding that this achievement comes as a result of the royal initiative by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz.  He went on to recall that viewers in North America were able to watch live coverage of the recently-concluded Hajj pilgrimage.
