OIC condemns Israeli stance on withdrawal from Lebanon

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) today reiterated that Israel is not serious in its offer to withdraw from the territories which it had occupied in Lebanon, and emphasized that linking the withdrawal with conditions is against the content of UN Resolution 425.  Secretary-General of the OIC Dr. Izzadeen Al-Iraqi said that the Israeli stance is a dangerous precedent which can make the security council's resolutions a target for change by any country, and reaffirmed the OIC's support for the position of the Lebanese government.
