Saudi Foreign Minister visits Yemen

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, accompanied by Minister of State and cabinet member Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Khuwaiter, royal court advisor Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Nafisa, and head of the maritime committee [for border demarcation] Hosain Omar Madani arrived in Sana'a today on a visit to the Republic of Yemen.  In a statement on his arrival, Prince Saud referred to the visit, during which he will meet with Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, as a continuation of the recent talks in Jeddah with Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdel-Qadir Bajamal, saying they would focus on enhancing bilateral relations as well as finalizing the border situation between the two countries.  He expressed the hope that the outcome of the talks would be fruitful.

For his part, Minister Bajamal said that the two sides are confident they will achieve their goals in a satisfactory manner given the cordial atmosphere prevailing.
