Muslim World League 35th session

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz highlighted the great attention given by the Kingdom to the causes of Islam and Muslims in a speech delivered on his behalf by Prince Majed Ibn Abdul Aziz before the 35th Session of the Constituent Council of the Muslim World League in Makkah on Sunday.  In his speech, King Fahd noted that the first Islamic Conference was convened in Makkah in 1345 (1926) at the invitation of King Abdul Aziz, the Kingdom’s founder.  Under the patronage of King Fahd, Prince Majed opened the 35th session in the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz Bin Baz, the Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Obeid, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL).
