Saudi Arabia assists Islamic organizations worldwide

A royal decree has been issued endorsing the provision of assistance to fifteen Islamic organizations in Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Senegal, Netherlands, Denmark, Albania, United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand, for the purpose of helping finance certain Islamic projects in line with a recommendation made by Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and Inspector-General, who is also chairman of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs.  The Council’s Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Ibrahim Al-Suwail said the council studies applications sent to the Kingdom seeking support for Islamic activities such as schools, community centers, mosques, and organizations serving Muslims around the world.
