Customs authorities report that the volume of imported goods cleared through the various entry points into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia totaled about 26.01 million tons in 1995, a decrease of 15 percent over the figure for the previous year. On the other hand, the volume of exports accounted for more than 141.59 million tons during the same period, a rise of 87 percent from 1994.
