King Fahd receives Palestinian award

Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz today received visiting Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and his accompanying delegation. During the audience, which was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mustafa Al-Sheikh, and a number of high officials, President Arafat awarded to the Saudi monarch the Medal of Honor, the Star of Palestine, the highest award his country can give, in recognition of King Fahd’s pioneering role and that of the Saudi government and people in support of the Palestinian cause, and of all Arab and Islamic causes, with the aim of realizing just and comprehensive peace.
