Crown Prine Abdullah, Prince Sultan receive awards

Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, today received at the Royal Court in Jeddah, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and received from him the Medal of Honor, the Star of Palestine, in recognition of Crown Prince Abdullah’s leading role in support of the Palestinian cause, and of all Arab and Islamic causes, and to emphasize the depth of the fraternal ties between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.  Prince Abdullah expressed pride in the award, and hoped that the Palestinian people would be able to realize their rights and set up their own state on their national soil with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as their capital.


Similarly, Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and Inspector-General, received at his office in Jeddah, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and received from him the Medal of Honor, the Star of Palestine, in recognition of Prince Sultan’s great efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
