As for the new members of the Council, we would like to assure them of our good wishes for success in their efforts and in their participation in the work of the Council and its committees during the second term. We seek God's help and blessing on our endeavors for the welfare of our nation and the greatness of our country in highlighting the affairs of Islam and all Muslims."
Chairman of the Shura Council Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Ibn Jubair today presided over the final meeting of the fourth session of the first four-year term of the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura), and praised its members for their contributions to the country and its citizens during their term of office, saying that they had tackled issues over the past four years in an objective manner through discussions of the highest standard taking into consideration full awareness of what best benefits their country and its citizens. The council went on to review the accomplishments of the term, and completed discussion on issues on its working agenda including a report from the chairman of the committee for services and public utilities.
