Aramco documentary on Kingdom wins film award

A documentary on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made by the national oil company Saudi Aramco has won an award for creative excellence at the annual international film festival in Houston, Texas, facing tough competition from 82 entries in the television special documentary category.  The 57-minute film, in English but dubbed in Arabic, is entitled:  “Saudi Arabia:  towards the 21st century” and was produced by McKinnon Films.  It features the Kingdom’s readiness to face the global challenges of the next century and recounts the various phases of building the nation, including the development of the infrastructure and the progress in education, health, industry and the economy.
