Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz yesterday expressed his appreciation for the great attention given to the state of his health by leaders of friendly countries as well as those of Arab and Muslim countries and the Saudi people themselves, saying: "The indisposition I suffered was an ordinary one. I would like to thank all leaders of fraternal and friendly countries as well as all Saudi citizens who inquired about my health condition. Thanks to Almighty God, I am now in a good state of health."

King Fahd was speaking on the occasion of an audience he granted to a Sudanese national whose two sons underwent complicated surgery in London in 1987 at the monarch's personal expense. The two boys and their father were in Makkah to perform the minor pilgrimage of umrah.
