Information minister condemns terrorism

Minister of Information Dr. Fouad Al-Farsi, speaking on his arrival in Cairo, yesterday reiterated the opposition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all kinds of terrorist activities, such as the explosions that took place in Jerusalem and Ashqualon, and agreed with Egyptian Information Minister Safwat Al-Sherief in condemning such acts as reflecting the weakness, not the strength, of any society. Dr. Al-Farsi is in Cairo for talks with Dr. Al-Sherief on boosting bilateral cooperation in the information sector, including the 'superhighway' and new technology, in the framework of the strong relations between the two countries. He remarked that the Arab media needed greater development in this age of information revolution in order to cope with modern advancements.
