Minister of Information Dr. Fouad Al-Farsi arrived in Damascus today, at the invitation of his Syrian counterpart Dr. Muhammad Salman, to review issues pertaining to information work in the region.  On arrival, Dr. Al-Farsi reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering support for Syria as regards its right to restoration of the occupied Golan Heights, and categorically denied reports that Saudi-Syrian relations were languishing, saying:  “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz have asked me to convey to Syrian President Hafez Al-Assad the feelings of appreciation the Kingdom has towards Syria.”
