Crown Prince Abdullah stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, is determined to go ahead and implement its programs and plans aimed at enhancing the security of Saudi citizens against those who try to undermine it, irrespective of their nationality.
Minister of Information Dr. Fouad Al-Farsi reported that Prince Abdullah gave an overview of the development of security in Saudi society since the time of the founder of the Kingdom King Abdul Aziz, urging all citizens to stand against any endeavor to undermine it or cause harm to the achievements accomplished in various spheres that make the Kingdom "a good example of progress, prosperity, and security." Prince Abdullah called on Saudi families to be fully aware of their responsibility towards the upbringing of their sons, so that implanted in their hearts will be belief in God Almighty, loyalty to their homeland, and redoubled efforts to acquire greater knowledge.
Reviewing recent security developments in Bahrain, Crown Prince Abdullah reiterated the Kingdom's unwavering support for Bahrain and for all measures that might be taken to ensure its stability and safety.
Turning to other issues on the agenda, the cabinet approved the participation of the Kingdom in the international exhibition due to be organized in Hanover, Germany, from June 1 to October 31, 2000 AD, on 'Man, Nature, and Technology'.
