Kingdom sends reliefe aid to flood-stricken Yemen

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz has ordered urgent relief to be sent to the Republic of Yemen where floods have swept through parts of the country causing extensive damage. The relief aid, consisting of food, medical supplies, tents, blankets and rugs, will be dispatched to Sanaa by cargo aircraft as soon as possible. Meanwhile, King Fahd sent a cable of condolence to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh expressing to him, to the families of the victims, and to the Yemeni people, his deep grief for the damage and casualties caused by the floods.
