In response to a question by MBC-TV, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General, emphasized that U.S.-Saudi relations are strong and stated that there is full understanding between the two friendly governments.  His Royal Highness noted that the UN plan to move several thousand troops is being implemented.

Prince Sultan expressed surprise at the misinformation emanating from news organizations that a Saudi decision has been taken against relocating French, American and British military units currently in the Kingdom to implement United Nations resolutions.
