The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday sent a message to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, which included a formal protest regarding the barbaric attacks carried out by Serbian forces against civilians in Tuzla and other Bosnian enclaves.

The Kingdom called for an end to such attacks and for firm measures to deter the Bosnian Serbs. It strongly criticized the Serbian terrorist attack in which the Bosnian Foreign Minister was killed together with Bosnians in his entourage.

On the other hand, donations gathered by the Higher Committee for Muslims of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Somalia totaled SR 762 million. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, contributed one third of this amount.
