The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud today sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President William Jefferson Clinton, President of the United States of America, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.

On his personal behalf, and on behalf of his government and the Saudi people, King Fahd expressed his most sincere and friendly congratulations, good-hearted wishes for health and happiness for President Clinton, and progress and prosperity for the friendly American people. Citing the occasion, King Fahd praised the historical relations that bind the two countries and their friendly peoples in their purpose of achieving security and stability.
