First batch of students at new Arabic Institute in Moscow

Fifty non-Muslim Russian students have applied to Moscow University to enroll as the first batch for a program of studies in Arabic language and literature, the first of its kind in Europe, under the umbrella of the recently-instituted Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Chair.   Classes will begin on December 1, 1995, following the signing of the protocol establishing the Chair, scheduled for November 14.
