First Sri Lankan pilgrims arrive in the Kingdom

The first group of Sri Lankan pilgrims arrived at the Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jiddah over the weekend, the Arab News reported today.


Sri Lankan Ambassador Mohamed Marleen and Consul General Abdul Lafeer received the group.

The 241 pilgrims making the initial trip are part of the 5,300 Sri Lankans who will be performing the Hajj this year.
